I paint an excerpt from a film in which I play myself, one that I produce and realize. The excerpt shows a specific moment or scene from this film, and in my paintings, the figures and elements are dissolved in the mood of the space; they are a part of the space and thus, they are the space itself. Therefore, in the pictorial description of the self, my focus is on the space, which is reflected in lines, colors, structures, and their composition and can be described through these qualities. My memories, those that are close to me and that I allow to live within me, are spatial. Even when I think of certain people, they are connected to a space, and together with this spatiality, they appear in my mind.
Ich male einen Ausschnitt aus einem Film, in dem ich selbst spiele, den ich produziere und realisiere. Der Ausschnitt zeigt einen bestimmten Moment oder eine Szene aus diesem Film, in meinen Bildern sind die Figuren und Elemente in der Stimmung des Raumes aufgelöst, sie sind ein Teil vom Raum und somit sind sie der Raum selbst, deshalb geht es mir in der malerischen Beschreibung des Selbst um den Raum, der sich wiederum in Linien, Farben, Strukturen und deren Komposition reflektiert und mit diesen Eigenschaften beschreibbar wird. Meine Erinnerungen, die mir nahe sind und die ich in mir leben lasse, sind räumlich. Auch wenn ich mich an bestimmte Personen erinnere, sind sie mit einem Raum verbunden und zusammen mit dieser Räumlichkeit erscheinen sie in meinem Kopf.
